Over the past few years and months I’ve been working on multiple projects and the last few months has especially been a productive time for me! In fact just over 3 weeks ago my body literally started shutting down and it was asking me for a break! My husband and I then decided to go away on a week’s break with my family and it was a very refreshing time for me.
So this week has been one of my most difficult weeks experienced during lockdown. And I found myself becoming discouraged and annoyed with the challenges and the delays and to the point where it started draining me mentally and physically! But thank God for His Love and for His Word, because today He led me to this scripture amongst others.
Hebrews 10:35-39 NIV
35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 37 For,
“In just a little while,
he who is coming will come
and will not delay.”
“But my righteous one will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”
39 But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.
Wow what an awesome reminder, I am really encouraged across different areas. And in the area of business I sensed that God wants me to know that I must not give up on the work that I’ve started, but to remain focused on the end result and to trust Him no matter what the circumstances or the current situation, because He is in control. My job is to believe in Him and to keep the faith and He is doing the rest. In fact it’s already done, the Promises have already been given to me and my hope will not be disappointed.
And today I want to encourage any and all of you who may feel like giving up in your business, in your marriage, in your finances, etc. I encourage you to, keep going, don’t quit and never give up! Trust God no matter what, make your requests known to Him and He will bring your dreams and requests to pass. Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
Another word that came up in my heart is “consistency”! And I sensed like God is saying to me and to you, remain consistent in your efforts and you will reap its benefits!
God bless you.
